A lorry and a car have collided in Faversham.

Police were called to the scene on the A251 Ashford Road, near the junction for the M2, just after 5pm tonight.

There are also reports of an oil spill following the collision between Salters Lane and Porters Lane.

Police say at present no injuries have been reported and recovery for one of the vehicles has been arranged.

There are currently long delays on the approaches in both directions.

Emergency services are at the scene.

People are advised approach with caution and expect delays.
