Air ambulance attends Faversham Recreation Ground following medical incident

A person has been taken to a London hospital after an air ambulance landed on a playing field.
Paramedics were called at 1.40pm to Faversham Road, Seasalter between Faversham and Whitstable.
An image sent to KentOnline by onlooker Ian Broadmore shows a helicopter on Faversham Recreation Ground in Park Road.
A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance (SECamb) says the person was then airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London.
Paramedics say they are now receiving “further medical treatment” following the incident.
A spokesman added: “SECAmb were called at 1.40pm today to reports of a person in need of medical attention on Faversham Road in Seasalter.
“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before being joined by the Air Ambulance Charity, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, who airlifted the patient to Kings College Hospital in London for further medical treatment.”
