Man arrested after suspected knifepoint robbery of Carlisle's Pharmacy in Cross Lane in Faversham town centre

A man is being held by police after an alleged knifepoint robbery at a chemist in Faversham.
Police were called to Carlisle's Pharmacy in Cross Lane in the town centre at 1pm on Friday.
Witnesses saw three police cars arrive and arrest a 29-year-old man at 3.30pm that afternoon.
A small amount of cash was allegedly stolen in the raid.
A Kent police spokesman added that no one was injured during the incident.
The man is still being held in custody on suspicion of robbery.
