Police car involved in crash on M2 near Faversham

A police officer has been injured after a patrol car crashed on the M2.
The vehicle was the only one involved in the incident on the westbound carriageway near Faversham at around 1.30am.
One officer was treated at the scene for a minor injury.
The road was closed for around two hours overnight between J6 for Faversham and J5 for Sittingbourne while the car was recovered.
National Highways assisted with traffic management while police led the response.
