Rape charge man remanded

A MAN accused of raping a young girl in Faversham will appear in crown court on Monday.
Daniel Clayton, 22, of Damon Close, Sidcup, was arrested at the Abbey School playing fields on Sunday.
He is charged with offences against a girl under 16, including rape, indecent assault and unlawful sexual intercourse.
Magistrates at Sittingbourne remanded Clayton in custody.
