Kent Police issues ice warning after car overturns near Faversham

A country road was sealed off after a car flipped onto its side in icy conditions.
Selling Road in Selling, near Faversham, was shut after the vehicle overturned just before 10am today.
Police have warned drivers to allow extra time for their journeys following a number of crashes this morning on rural lanes.
"We had a few reports of road traffic collisions this morning mainly on the rural lanes," it said.
"Please allow extra time for your journey, make sure your car is properly de-iced and drive to the conditions."
Fire crews and highways officers joined police at the scene, where the person behind the wheel of the car reported minor injuries.
The route was closed while arrangements were made to recover the vehicle, before reopening at about 12.20pm
Meanwhile, a road Stickfast Lane in Bobbing was also closed following a two-car crash earlier today.
"We were called just after 9.50am to a collision involving two cars," a police spokesman said.
"Officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported.
"The road was closed to traffic due to ice on the road surface."
