Robber attacks man at work

POLICE are appealing for information after a Sittingbourne was attacked and robbed while at work in Faversham late last night. The 34-year-old victim,was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries and bruising.
The incident took place at about 10.30pm in Faversham's Seager Road. The man was walking from one part of a building to another. Police say the robber jumped on him from behind and snatched a gold necklace valued at about £400.
The attacker is described as white, aged about 30 to 33, and of medium build with untidy, dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured coat, dark jeans and a scruffy pair of Reebok trainers. Anyone with information is asked to telephone Swale police on 01795 477055 or Crime Stoppers 0800 555111.
