Crashes on A299 Thanet Way and A2 at Brenley Corner spark traffic jams

Two crashes on major roads in east Kent sparked long tailbacks for rush-hour drivers.
A lorry and a car collided on the A2 at Brenley Corner, causing queuing traffic for a mile.
There were jams in both directions on the A2.
Another crash on the coastbound of the A299 sparked two-mile tailbacks towards Whitstable.
A Ford Escort estate at the scene appeared to have lost a wheel.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 4.57pm following a collision involving a car and a lorry at Brenley Corner roundabout, near Faversham.
"No injuries have been reported."
