M2 crash causing delays between junction six for Faversham and junction five for Sittingbourne

Drivers faced rush hour delays this afternoon after a crash blocked part of the M2.
One lane of the coast bound carriageway was closed after the accident at about 5.30pm between J5 for Sittingbourne and J6 for Faversham.
The road was partially blocked as the vehicles were moved on to the hard shoulder.
The road was cleared by 7pm.
