Car and skip lorry crash in Western Link, Faversham, closes roads

A crash involving a car and a skip lorry saw roads closed for several hours.
The collision took place at the junction between B2045 Western Link and Bysing Wood Road in Faversham this morning.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 9am.
As of 1pm, the Serious Collision Investigation Unit was still at the site, conducting enquiries. The closure was eventually lifted by 2.25pm.
A localised road closure was in place in both directions on Western Link, close to the junction with Bysing Wood Road.
Bysing Wood Road was also closed at the junction with Wildish Road, near the Sainsbury's store.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
