Preston Street and Tanners Street in Faversham closed after void opens and sewer collapses

Two town centre roads have been closed for emergency repairs following heavy rain overnight.
Preston Street in Faversham has been forced to shut to all vehicles after a void opened up.
It will remain closed while repair works take place.
Meanwhile, Tanners Street has also been unexpectedly shut after a sewer collapsed.
Southern Water are due to carry out repairs, and motorists are advised to avoid both roads.
