A number of caravans have been spotted in a car park next to a swimming pool.

The suspected unauthorised traveller encampment was seen at Faversham Swimming Pool in Leslie Smith Drive, Faversham.

Pictures seen by KentOnline show three caravans at the Central Car Park in Leslie Smith Drive which are believed to have been on-site since Wednesday afternoon (April 8).

A spokesperson for Swale Borough Council said: “The council is aware of the situation and is taking appropriate action.”
