Girl rescued from mud near New Creek Road in Faversham

Firefighters were called in to help a girl stuck in the mud.
Three crews were sent to land near New Creek Road in Faversham at 5.37pm yesterday when they found the teenager stuck up to her waist.
With the help of HM Coastguard, the girl was freed from the mud.
They used a mud path, a strong board designed for people to be pulled on to, and dry suits to help them.
The emergency had been called off by 6.55pm.
