Trains have been cancelled between Faversham and Dover Priory as emergency repairs are carried out.
Network Rail needs to carry out the work to the railway in Selling and have arranged for replacement buses to operate between the two stations.
In a post on Twitter by Southeastern at 10.30am, the train operator stated the work would take four hours to complete.
Passengers for Canterbury will be able to travel via Ramsgate instead and replacement bus services are currently operating.
Southeastern have urged people to check their journey and allow extra time to reach their destination.
