Danjelo Sadikaj and Endrit Lapardhoti charged after huge cannabis raid in Faversham

Two men have been charged after cannabis plants with a street value of almost £500,000 were found.

Police discovered the factory at the Upper Brents Industrial Estate in Faversham yesterday, which contained approximately 2,000 plants.

Officers were seen removing bags from the site and two men were arrested.

Danjelo Sadikaj, aged 27 and from Upper Brents, Faversham, and 23-year-old Endrit Lapardhoti, from London, have both been charged with being concerned in the production of a controlled drug.

They are due before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.

Police were called to the site yesterday after a member of public reported suspicious activity and a strong smell of cannabis.

There were more than seven patrol vehicles at the scene yesterday afternoon, including forensics.
