DRIVERS faced heavy tailbacks today after a collision between four vehicles on the London bound carriageway of the M2 near Faversham.
The tailbacks ran for eight miles between junction five and six after the accident at about 8.15am. Traffic did not begin to flow freely again for an hour.
Members of the Kent Ambulance Service treated a man who had hurt his back and a woman who injured her chest and knee. Police say the injuries were not life-threatening. A Peugeot 306, a 106 and a Vauxhall Corsa were recovered from the scene.
