Woman arrested after stabbing in Faversham near recreation ground

A woman has been arrested after a stabbing which left the victim "bleeding heavily from his chest".
Police were called to Church Road, Faversham, just before 10.50pm on Sunday and the air ambulance landed at the recreation ground.
The bleeding victim, who managed to knock on the window of house to get much-needed help, was airlifted to a London hospital.
A 42-year-old woman, who is from the town, has since been arrested on suspicion of assault.
She has now been released pending further investigation
After being treated at hospital, the victim, who is in his 40s and thought to be Algerian, was later discharged.
Police are still investigating the stabbing and are continuing to appeal for information.
