A woman had to be rescued by fire crews after she fell one metre into a vehicle inspection pit in a car garage.
Crews were called to the garage in Painters Forstal around 3.30pm where wooden boards above the pit had given way.
The woman fell down the hole onto her back and fire crews had to use a pulley system to pull her out on to a stretcher.
A spokesman for Faversham's fire service said: "She had fallen in and hurt her back.
"The ambulance crews helped her while she was down there and then we used a pulley system to get her on to the stretcher."
