Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a two car crash in South Street, Boughton under Blean - between Canterbury and Faversham - just before 7pm.
On arrival crews found a man and woman both in their early 20s trapped in one of the cars.

Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle before she was taken to hospital.
