Faversham Town boss Ray Turner looks ahead to the game with Chipstead

Faversham Town boss Ray Turner has nothing but positive things to say about his squad’s recent displays.
There have been a lot of changes on the field in their Bostik South season with Turner previously talking about it being a rebuilding process for his Faversham side.
A lot of young players have been brought into the team and he has praised the way they have been playing.
Turner is hoping they can continue their good home form with another home win when they play Chipstead on Saturday.
He said: “I have nothing but positives to say about the side. Since January, our performance levels have been pretty decent.
“We can take a lot of positives from our recent games. There are a lot of young players doing well.
“Experience is valuable in this league. They know what to do at the right time in games. Mistakes at our level will be punished so we have to make sure there is a balance in the team.”
Faversham were unlucky to not come away with at least a point from their match against Corinthian-Casuals on Saturday,.
Town conceded a penalty in the last minute of the match to go home empty handed.
Turner said: “It was literally the last kick of the game. As soon as the penalty went in, the referee blew for full-time. It was an understatement to say it was disappointing.
“The modern game has changed. When you go to ground you give the referee and excuse to give the decision. Some of the players that were close said it was a penalty.
“It is disappointing to lose like that when you have put so much into it. We deserved to take something from the game but it is the way it goes sometimes.”
