Faversham Town have rewarded Anthony Adesite and Steven Mills will deals at the club on the back of impressive trial periods.

Adesite arrives at Salters Lane having managed 11 goals and seven assists while on loan at Punjab United from Cray Wanderers last season.

Mills, meanwhile, has joined from Lordswood where he played predominantly for the reserves.

Joint-manager Phil Miles said: "Steven is only young. They're both young, which is the route we're looking for.

"They're both keen to learn, Anthony plays anywhere along the front line and Steven is more of a full-back but he is quite capable of playing in two or three positions so that gives us some options there.

"They're both raw, young, willing to learn and we've been pleased with their performances in the friendlies.

"We've decided to sign those two. Apart from them we're going to give it another week before we start making decisions on trialists."

The Lilywhites also remain on the lookout for added experience in the goalscoring department.

"Ideally we would like an experienced player at this level up top, we're still looking for one more," admitted Miles.

"We're still looking for a midfielder but apart from that I think we're pretty close to where we would like to be.

"Obviously with the financial restraints that we've got we still feel we've assembled a squad that can compete in this league.

"We know there's going to be a bit of movement from players from other clubs over the next couple of weeks leading up to that first game once they realise they're not going to get the football they've been promised, so we'll be patient.

"We're happy with what we've got at the moment but we would like to add at least two more possibly three, we'll have to see what comes up over the next couple of weeks."

Faversham are scheduled to host Romford in a newly-arranged pre-season friendly on Saturday.
