Faversham’s Finn Smart-Weeden picked up his first points in the British Junior Supersport Championship at Snetterton.
The 13-year-old finished 10th in round four to pocket six points after an eventful race at the weekend.
Heavy rain meant a wet race was declared and tyres had to be changed to wets on the grid after the sighting lap had taken place.
The race was reduced to nine laps and Smart-Weeden was one of the few that managed to stay the course, brining his Santander Salt Tag Racing Kawasaki Ninja400 across the line in the top 10.
The previous day Smart-Weeden finished 25h after starting 29th on the grid in a race that took place during gale force winds.
The Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School pupil is next due in action at Silverstone in the first weekend of September.
