Sheldwich Cricket Club are hoping to mark their centenary year in style this summer.
The club, based in the village on the outskirts of Faversham, will celebrate reaching 100 not out on Sunday, August 28.
A T20 match has been arranged which will begin from 1.30pm at Sheldwich Lees on the day, with current and former players invited to attend.
There will also be a barbecue and cricket tea after the match, the bar in the clubhouse will be open all afternoon and there will be a bouncy castle and games for children, too.
A club spokesman said: “We are extremely excited to be holding this special event to mark the club’s centenary year.
“Hopefully plenty of players and supporters of the club - young and old - will be able to come along to enjoy the day and, fingers crossed, there will be some sunny weather.
“Plenty of volunteers have dedicated so much time to the club over the years, putting in a great deal of effort, and the day will also provide a great opportunity to thank them for all their efforts.”
Sheldwich have first-team sides that play Saturdays and Sundays, the Saturday team are in Kent Regional League Division 4 East while the Sunday side play in Kent Village League 1.
The club reached the 2007 Doug Wood Cup final, losing by five wickets to Minster, while the Sunday side have enjoyed recent success in the Kent Village League.
