Police were called after reports that a man was seen exposing himself at a park near a primary school.

The incident happened at the duck pond at Radnor Park in Folkestone yesterday afternoon, which is a short distance away from Stella Maris Primary School in Parkfield Road.

He is said to have run off when he heard police sirens approaching.

The man is described as white with grey hair, between 40 and 50, and was wearing a black t-shirt with white writing on it and light blue jeans.

One woman, writing on Facebook, said of the incident: "Please keep an eye out and look after your children. Stella Maris School is very close by and the kids are all on half term."
