A20 closed in Folkestone after car and cyclist crash

A child has been taken to hospital and a major route is closed in both directions after a crash between a cyclist and a car.
The A20 Ashford Road in Folkestone is closed in both directions.
The road is shut beneath the railway bridges after an accident.
The Number 17 Stagecoach bus service that usually uses the route is being diverted.
Traffic on the Newington Road to the M20 J12 for Cheriton is very slow.
The accident involved a cyclist and a car. A child has been taken to hospital but there is no details about how serious his injuries are.
Although the accident happened at 2.30pm, police are still at the scene and the road remains closed.
