PHIL TANNER was lucky enough to get a bite when he went fishing in the county. And he has the wounds to prove it.
Mr Tanner, who runs Harbour Fishing Tackle at Folkestone, was taking part in a competition on the town's pier when he landed a lesser spotted dogfish, a member of the shark family.
He was showing it off to friend Scott Allen who then accidentally nudged Mr Tanner's arm and his nose proved even more tempting for the fish than the regular bait.
He said: "It wouldn't let go and I panicked a bit, making the bite worse. I did continue to fish after removing the fish from my nose."
