Armed police called to Foord Road South in Folkestone

Armed police were called to a house in Folkestone following reports a firearm had been seen in the property.
Foord Road South was closed during the operation, which happened at around 5.40pm.
A police spokesman said: "No threats were reported.
"As a precaution, firearms officers attended and the road was temporarily closed while officers dealt with the incident. No arrests were made.
"A gas-powered weapon has been recovered from the property and enquiries are ongoing into the matter."
No other details were available.
