An arrest has been made after a man was spotted “walking off” the end of a platform at a railway station.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Folkestone Central at around 11.15am.
It was reported that a man was seen “walking off the end of the platform”.
A Southeastern train driver then spotted him along the tracks and picked him up.
He was later brought back to the station building where he was arrested for trespassing. There were no delays to services reported.
In a further update issued this evening, BTP said: “The male arrested earlier has been interviewed and admitted the offence, he was very remorseful for his actions today and has been given a community resolution for trespass, as he is eligible for an out of court disposal.
“He has been given an educational input as part of this.”
