Woman arrested on suspicion of burglary and shoplifting after distraction burglaries in Folkestone, Dover and Deal

A woman has been arrested in connection with three alleged distraction burglaries that took place in three different towns.
The police received the reports of the incidents which took place within days of each other last month.
The first happened in George Street, Dover, the second in Foord Road, Folkestone and the third in Telegraph Road in Deal.
A police spokesman confirmed a 28-year-old woman from Deal was arrested on suspicion of burglary and shoplifting on Wednesday, February 1.
The spokesman said: "Officers from Dover’s Local District Policing Team and a special constable arrested a woman in Granville Street, Dover on Wednesday 1 February.
"She remains in police custody while inquiries are ongoing."
