Glenn Linaker, 63, from Folkestone, charged with causing grievous bodily harm and criminal damage

One man suffered serious face injuries and another was taken into custody following an assault in Folkestone.
Officers were called to a property in Gladstone Road during the early hours of Sunday to reports the assault had taken place.
A man in his 50s was taken to hospital after suffering injuries to his jaw and face.
Police launched an investigation and yesterday charged Glenn Linaker, 63, of Gladstone Road, Folkestone, with causing grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.
Mr Linaker appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court the same day where he was remanded in custody.
The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 21.
