Police are investigating after a woman driver suffered a road rage attack.
This happened after two cars, a silver Volkswagen Polo and a silver Kia Sportage, were travelling in the same direction along Canterbury Road, Hawkinge.
They both travelled past the roundabouts at the junctions with Churchill Avenue and also Spitfire Way, before coming to a stop by the traffic lights at the junction to Uphill Road.
Police believe that shortly afterwards one of the drivers, a woman aged in her 20s, was assaulted.
This happened between 8am and 8.35am last Wednesday.
Investigating officer PC Matthew Petty said: "We want to hear from anyone who may have seen the two cars stop by the traffic lights, or if they saw them driving along the road beforehand."
