Cambridge, Port Lympne's new baby ostrich joins animal director's family of dogs

Animal friendships like the owl and the pussycat are well loved - but how about the ostrich and the dog as a new family favourite?
Cambridge, a baby ostrich, is often seen playing with his three new best friends.
He is a new arrival to the Port Lympne Reserve and is being hand-raised at Simon Jeffery's home, the park's animal director.

At just two months old, little Cambridge, is doing well and is healthy and strong.
But most amazing is the bond he has made with Mr Jeffery's three dogs as the bird is now one of the pack.
Daisy and Ian, both Jack Russells, and Morgan, a Staffordshire Terrier, have welcomed the playful ostrich into their gang.
The ostrich revels in playtime and his favourite game is fetch and is on point to offer a few "helpful pecks" to clean the dogs and is also regularly playing chase around the garden.
The unusual relationship came about while Cambridge is growing up at Mr Jeffery's house as he prepares for life in the park's African reserve.
He has also formed a bond with Mr Jeffery's son, Max, who is on feeding duties and makes sure the baby bird gains the right amount of weight.
Cambridge will join the family of ostriches at the reserve in a week and will be closely monitored until he is fully grown.
He has been showing off his gymnastics skills with mid-air spins and is showing good sings as a confident and sociable character.
