Bathing beauties turn heads at tongue-in-cheek parade
00:00, 24 July 2008
Miss Ivy Paige has won the coveted title of Miss Club Shepway 2008.
The flame-haired beauty wowed the judges with her distinctive seaside theme, complete with a lobster prop.
Ivy won the top place in Sunday’s contest at Folkestone’s Leas Lift although all of her seven competitors also gained prizes.
The event was a tongue-in-cheek celebration of the first Bathing Beauties parade held in the town in 1908.
Ivy’s competitors last weekend included Debra Decay, Dangerous Dolly and Miss Golden De Licious.
