A body has been found on a beach in the search for a missing man.

Police were called shortly before 8am this morning following the discovery of a body near the Leas Cliff Hall.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Formal identification has not yet taken place but the family of missing Folkestone man Bhakta Bahadur Tamang are aware.

Mr Tamang, 77, was reported missing yesterday evening.
