Bomb disposal units have been searching a property in Folkestone.
Police and a Ministry of Defence explosive ordnance team were called to Chalcroft Road, near Sandgate, this morning after concerns were raised around items stored in a house.
After an inspection, the suspected explosives were found to be airsoft equipment and deemed to pose no risk to the public.
A police spokesman said: "Officers have attended Chalcroft Road in Folkestone, in relation to concerns around a number of items reported to have been stored at a property.
"A Ministry of Defence explosive ordnance disposal unit also attended the scene and have now inspected what is believed to be equipment intended for use with airsoft activities."
The bomb disposal teams had left the scene by 2.45pm.
