Bomb squad called to garden in Cheriton, near Folkestone

The bomb squad has swooped on a home near Folkestone after a wartime device was discovered in a garden.
Police were called to Church Road, Cheriton, at about 10.30am today.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal experts later arrived to support officers, where it is understood a bomb fuse was found. No explosives were involved.
A spokesman for the police said: "We received a report that a suspected wartime munitions device had been found in a garden in Church Road, Folkestone.
"Officers attended along with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal experts who dealt with the object."
An army bomb disposal van and police car were photographed nearby in Aldridge Road.
