A car and a bus have crashed on a busy route through Folkestone town centre.

Police were called just before 2pm to reports of the collision on Tontine Street at the bottom of the Old High Street.

A spokesman said no injuries were reported and officers attended to help clear the road.

A witness said it did not appear to be serious and officers were interviewing people including passengers on the bus.
