Folkestone: Fire service called to town centre to tackle car blaze

Firefighters have rushed to a town centre this afternoon amid reports a car was well alight at the side of the road.
The Folkestone crew went to Castle Hill Avenue at 2.10pm and tackled the blaze wearing breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
The fire service requested the assistance of the police to divert traffic around the vehicle.
There were no reported injuries.
