A small fire confined to the passenger compartment of a car is now under further investigation.
Firefighters were called to Victoria Grove in Folkestone yesterday at 6.05pm to reports a Renault Clio was ablaze.
Crews from Folkestone spent about 10 minutes using a hose reel to put it out.
There was no indication of how it started and the vehicle's owner was not present.
- In an unrelated incident, firefighters from Folkestone and Hythe were called to a property in Tanners Hill, Saltwood, at around midnight after it was reported an electrical appliance was burning. It turned out to be a false alarm.
