A lorry trying to enter a cash and carry store became stuck after trying to drive under a car park height restriction barrier.
Bookers in Park Farm Road, Folkestone, had to open up the freight section of its car park to allow customers access in and out of the store.
The HGV attempted to drive into the customer section at around 11.30am today, but got wedged when it knocked the orange barrier, forcing it to collapse between the cab and trailer.
Shoppers said it blocked the road for hours and police were called to the scene to divert traffic around the obstacle.
A worker confirmed at 4pm that the vehicle had been dislodged from the entrance.
Park Farm Road is part of the main route into the Park Farm Industrial Estate which has out-of-town shops and builders merchants.
It's thought no one was injured.
