Man arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after crash on Pavilion Road, Folkestone

A parked car ended up just a few feet away from a house front door after a crash with a van.
Police officers were called to the incident in Pavilion Road in Folkestone just after 9.30pm last night.
Photographs taken at the scene show the parked car mounted on the pavement and railing knocked down into the road during the aftermath of the accident, which resulted in an arrest.
A police spokesman said: "Police received a report of a collision involving a van and a parked car at 9.34pm on Sunday, August 12.
"Officers attended the scene in Pavilion Road, Folkestone.
"A 31-year-old man from Folkestone was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink-driving."
He has since been released pending further enquiries.
