A man’s body has been found in a flat today.
The man, in his 60s, was a tenant who was found dead by his landlord at the property in Bouverie Road West, Folkestone.
But police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Police were called at 10.25am and remained at the scene until about 2pm while officers carried out their enquiries.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “It is too early at this stage to say what has happened. At the moment we are not treating the death as suspicious.”
They confirmed a report was being prepared for the coroner.
South East Coast Ambulance crews were called shortly before 10.30am.
A spokesman said paramedics attended but were unable to revive the man after they arrived.
