A horse was saved by fire crews during a three-hour rescue operation after it got stuck down a muddy bank.
Fire crews used a farmer's tractor to move the animal, named Paz, out of trouble near Lickpot Hill in Folkestone.
Straps were tied around the horse and a crane from the animal rescue unit was used to lift the 24-year-old horse up to standing, before being handed into the care of the owner.
A fire engine and an animal rescue unit were called to the scene at 7.52am yesterday before leaving at 10.50am.
