A suspect has been arrested accused of taking drugs and driving following a series of police traffic checks.
An 18-year-old man from Folkestone was arrested in Tram Road over the alleged offence on Friday.
He has since been released on bail until April 20 pending further inquiries.
During the operation, a further 10 motorists were reported for issues including seatbelt offences, using a mobile phone at the wheel and speeding.
Sgt Kevin Marsh said: "The work was aimed at educating road users and promoting safer driving across the town.
"We are committed to keeping our roads as safe as possible and operations such as this help to reinforce the need to play your part, keep your vehicle roadworthy and make sure your full focus is on the road."
Officers from Folkestone Community Policing Team, town centre officers and the Kent Special Constabulary also searched two cars for suspected drugs.
