Police chase in Folkestone and Dover ends with four people in custody on suspicion of theft of a vehicle

Four people are being held in custody this morning following a high-speed police car chase in the early hours.
The "pursuit" started in Cheriton High Street at 1.30am and ended in Crabble Road, Dover, at 1.53am.
A tweet from Kent Police RPU suggested that armed police were trying to stop the vehicle.
An 18-year-old man from Dover, a 22-year-old woman from Folkestone, a 20-year-old man from Dover and a 17-year-old boy from Dover have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Residents reported hearing noises and seeing sirens in the middle of the night near Folkestone town centre.
