Jewellery stolen after break in at elderly woman's home in Shaftesbury Avenue, Folkestone

A pensioner was pushed over by burglars dressed head to toe in black after she caught them snooping around her home.
It is reported that two white men broke into the property in Shaftesbury Avenue, Folkestone via the back window.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm last night and jewellery has been reported stolen in the raid.
The victim, a woman in her 70s, had tried to stop the suspects after she found them in her house.
She fortunately did not suffer any injuries.
The men reportedly fled via the back of the house taking a quantity of jewellery with them.
Detectives investigating the burglary are carrying out enquiries and reviewing CCTV opportunities.
