It is not known if the person was a guest at the hotel or a visitor to the harbour.
The extent of the incident has yet to be revealed.
A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Marine Parade in Folkestone at 10.21am on Thursday, June 27 to assist the South East Ambulance Service with a report of a person having a medical incident."
