Eurotunnel passenger services face eight hour delays due to maintenance work
05:00, 21 December 2015
Eurotunnel services at Folkestone are operating as normal today - after chaos on the lines following a track fault.
It comes after unplanned maintenance work in the tunnel earlier for a damaged rail.
A section of the Channel Tunnel was closed and work got under way to fix the problem - but passengers were forced to wait up to eight hours last night to get to France.
Services are now back to normal, and customers advised to arrive at the terminal at the normal time.
