A sinkhole has opened up in a residential road and the authorities are shutting it off to motorists.
The small but deep hole has fallen through in Trimworth Road in Cheriton, Folkestone, today.
Large cracks around it suggest it could get bigger.
It is understood a cone has been placed next to it to alert people.
Residents have said that Kent County Council (KCC) Highways is on the scene and is looking to shut the road this afternoon.
KCC Highways said: "A work gang has been tasked with closing the road."
