The Grand Burstin Hotel as well as Bob's Seafood could be seen in the photo taken by Bridget Chapman.

She says crews had been telling residents they are from Netflix, and her friend said it is for a thriller series called Palomino.

According to Variety, the eight-part series is being produced by Left Bank, the same team behind huge hit The Crown.

Ms Chapman spotted the crews after a morning sea swim and says there were "clipboards, lanyards and hi-viz as far as the eye can see".

"The Stade was a lot busier than usual this morning after I was walking back from a swim at 7.30am," she told KentOnline.

"It was packed with people wearing lanyards and high visibility jackets.

"There were also stop signs around to stop traffic."

According to IMDB, Palomino sees a British teacher in Spain caught up in a supermarket robbery.

When one of the robbers claims to recognize her, her life threatens to unravel.

This filming comes not long after production crews were also spotted around Dover Castle earlier this month.

It's understood the castle is being used to film a new TV period drama, although no other details have yet been confirmed.
